A Valuable Experience
For more than 20 years, interns of Scribner, Cohen and Company have gained valuable experience and insight into public practice that cannot be duplicated in the classroom. These individuals have moved on to become valuable members of the profession.

Here's what Kristin B. says about her internship...

"My accounting department internship offered me a chance to see what a career in public accounting is like. This provided me with an opportunity to prepare business returns and assist on a few audits. Unexpectedly I also learned about payroll. As a student the topic was briefly covered at the end of one chapter so my internship taught me everything I know about payroll processing. My experience reinforced the financial reporting that I learned from school by preparing compilations. My internship and the relationships I formed with my co-workers at Scribner Cohen and Company led me to the decision to start my career in public accounting."

Read what Jessica G. says about her internship experience...

"My internship at Scribner, Cohen & Company is one of the best experiences in my college career. Everyone that works at Scribner is dedicated to helping me achieve by helping me fully understand the work I am completing on a daily basis. Whether I am completing an individual income tax return or preparing a working trial balance, everyone is willing to sit down and answer all the questions I have. Overall, I thank everyone at Scribner, Cohen & Company for allowing me the opportunity to broaden my education beyond the classroom setting."
